Privacy Policy

Who we are

Our website address is: https://agopt.com. We use “we” in the royal sense, as we sit upon our porcelain throne.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

We do not allow comments.

Media

We do not allow you to upload media.

Contact forms

If you contact us, we will receive a message from you with the content that you sent us. We might read it.

Cookies

Our cookies have zero calories! However, they may track you as you gallivant about the interweb. Various services use cookies to track information about who you are and what you’re doing and we might avail ourselves of some of those services from google, facebook, or what have you.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We use google analytics, and perhaps analytics from wordpress and some other services that check up on how things are working. These services gather data because that’s what they’re good at.

Who we share your data with

We hold pizza parties every month, but we don’t invite anybody because we don’t share.

Of course, if you sign up for our email list (hosted by aweber) then they are holding on to your subscription information.

And google (and other tracking services) are probably noticing you are here because we use their services to make things run more smoothly.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. Though we don’t allow comments. But the same probably holds true if you contact us.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Note: We don’t allow you to have an account on the site nor do we allow you to comment.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Sometimes we run them past our moms. Since our relationships with moms may be sketchy at best, we don’t allow comments. Everyone wins!

We’re not into sharing. At least, not THAT kind of sharing.
